[ she's in the kitchen at one of the tables with an assortment of stuff. she's hard to miss! ]

[Welp, he shows up in about fifteen minutes, just kind of... hovering. In the doorway.]

[ she gets up from the table and walks over. ]

[ pretends to look at a watch that doesn't actually exist on her wrist. ]

Right on time~! I'm pretty excited about this. It's been how long since I told you this idea?

Kinda a while, right?

[He hesitates - hesitates longer - then takes a quick breath in and steps over the threshold to cross over to her table.]

It's almost been forever... [ her voice grows soft and she trails off. ] But everything's almost ready! [ immediately said loudly!!! ]

[ she takes note, but says nothing. instead, she goes back over to the table and plops down. ] Pizza seemed simple enough, and they're so easy to customize. Seemed like the perfect thing to make.

Yeah?

I mean - yeah. How hard could it be, right?

[He's fidgeting with the hem of his shirt a little, a nervous gesture she's never seen before.]

Not too hard, but we can still take it slow.

[ motions to the seat across from her. ] We can catch up in the meantime. [ take his mind off of it. ]

Uh - yeah. Sure. What - what do you wanna catch up about?

[Are there ingredients out? He needs something to do with his hands.]

[ YEP! it's all out. dough, cans of sauce, all sorts of cheese, and a bunch of different toppings. ]

[ she's going to grab some flour and dust her cutting board with it and then grab a slab of dough. time to roll it out. ] What'cha been up to?

Past couple days?

[He has been entirely MIA from the dorm, that's for sure.]

Kinda came down with something. Like a cold or whatever.

[Speaking of. He'd better go wash his hands. He sure does balk for a second at the sink before he turns the water on and hauls his sleeves up to get to it.]

Yeah...

[ h- hard not to notice. ]

Oh? Feeling better? [ she's going to assume that, yeah, he kind of is, otherwise he might not have come out. ] I'm glad...

[ watches him get up, though she'll look back down and pretend to knead the dough while she continues watching out of the corner of her eye. ]

Fever's down, anyway.

[He finishes up washing his hands and heads back over.]

How bout you, whatcha been up to?

I can't believe I didn't know you were sick. I could have made you some chicken noodle soup again.

[ she's actually kneading the dough now, though it's probably not necessary. ]

Not much for once. Just trying to hone my skills as a warrior. [ chuckles. ]

I mean, you can make me soup when I'm not sick. That's cool, too.

[Going to take another one of these balls of dough and copy her?]

Yeah? You been sparring?

Touché. But let me take care of you next time. I bet I can be a top notch nurse.

[ yes! need to knead and roll out the dough. ]

Yeah. I... if something happens to my eyes again I want to be ready, y'know. I'm probably just being paranoid, but it's not like I can fix them on my own like a FiN can.

[ she's going to throw more flour down for the both of them. ]

[ she grabs a rolling pin and starts rolling out her dough. ]
