[She dumps out a blanket and a number of smaller pieces of flannel and other, sparklier? fabrics, which get scattered across the floor to add warmth and softness, bam, done]

Riceballs and sandwiches, the usual stuff.

[There seems to be plenty of riceballs, in addition to caprese paninis and pumpkin pudding for dessert. There's also tea from the conbini]

[Helping himself immediately to a flannel, which he drapes over his shoulders like a cape]

So a big feast...

[She arranges the cloths and blankets closer around him, sitting close herself]

Looks great.

[Leaning in against her, close enough that they can share; he reaches back to fuss the blankets into place over her, too]

Fingers crossed they taste okay.

[She shifts a little at the brush of his arm as he works, flushing a little]

'Course they do. See?

[Reaches for a riceball, though lifts it to his mouth, not her own]

[He leans in to take a bite - chews, and swallows]

Not bad.

Toldja.

[Pleased, and she prompts him for another bite, reaching for the sandwiches, too]

[Takes a second bite to finish it off]

You gonna try any yourself, or are you just gonna feed me all day?

Patience. I've got priorities here.

[Offers him that amazing-looking sandwich]

[Leaning in to take a bite]

What if my priorities are you eating your lunch before it gets cold?

It's a bento, it's supposed to be cold. Nests don't come with microwaves.

[Takes another bite, since she hasn't moved it,]

Where's pep's powers when you need em.

They got food heating powers?

They got whatever-they-want heating powers.

[Selects a riceball and offers it up to her]

[Flushes at this, too, and leans in for a delicate bite]

...Seems useful to keep around. The rest of us gotta make do with fires.

Fire in a nest seems like a bad call.

Exactly... Anyways, this is a chill zone. Don't need nothing like that to heat things up here.

[Curls closer around him, offering more sando]

[Mm, sando. Nom nom nom]

[Offers her one, as well]

What, you got other ideas for heating things up?

I got one or two.

[She carefully nibbles at the one in his hand, lips soft over his thumb once the sandwich has been eaten away]

I'm listening.

[Flushing,]

[She gives the pad of his thumb a gentle kiss before going for another riceball. This time she actually goes for a bite, though instead of chomping through, she holds it carefully in her jaws and leans in to offer him a bite of his own]

[He flushes - leans in, careful, to take his half]

[A pleased sound comes from deep in her throat, and she stays put so he can take as much as he likes]

[He takes his time with it - longer than it takes to get a riceball, surely]

[Oddly enough there are no complaints? So it must be fine. Her arms and wings come to draw him in closer as well]
