[He has plenty of time; it is definitely taking him more than a few.]
[He shows up eventually, though, still down a leg and on a crutch. The crutch has been improved a little, at least, and he looks like he's showered, if not slept? So. Progress?]
Not really? I do have some stuff I need to review, and having a second pair of eyes would help a lot, but I've been worried about you. And before you say 'don't worry about me', I don't think I can turn it off just like that.
... Is there a reason why you don't feel comfortable staying in Heart Soldier to rest? I don't mean to press on the details if so, I'd just like to know.
[ Considering his words a little more carefully. ]
I'm not trying to lecture you about spending more time here or there. I'm just trying to understand what makes you more comfortable. If Heart Soldier is a place where you'd prefer to be only to do the essentials, then that's all I'd like to know.
... If you don't mind my speaking, it feels like you're actively avoiding the entire team, which I think worries them a lot more than if it was just explained the way it was to me.

...hey.
Re: Day 149, Morning
[ Motioning to the seat across from him. ]
Have a seat.
Re: Day 149, Morning
[Slides into the seat across from him and sets the crutch to lean against the table.]

Re: Day 149, Morning
What's up, what's going on?
Re: Day 149, Morning
But mostly I wanted to check in with you and see how you're doing.
Re: Day 149, Morning
You don't gotta worry about me, dude, I got me covered.
Re: Day 149, Morning
Re: Day 149, Morning
I mean, they kinda weren't the kinda favors you gotta pay back? More like welcome-to-the-team kinda favors.

The, uh. The catching up with stuff.
Re: Day 149, Morning
... Not when the actions contradict the words.
Re: Day 149, Morning
The leg's a work in progress, but like. The crutch is working alright for now? I'm getting around.

She used to stay over all the time, but some stuff happened a while back and she got kinda weird about coming over.
[Shifts again. Eye contact is not a thing that's happening right now.]
It's not all on her, though, it's not - like that. I check out sometimes even when she's doing other stuff.
Re: Day 149, Morning
... Do you prefer it that way?
Re: Day 149, Morning
[Read: snuck in at like midnight after everyone was sleeping so he could finally take that shower and change his bandages.]
It's not like I'm gonna go gray or nothing, I keep count.

...I'm okay to hang out sometimes.
Just not, like - all the time. Y'know?

Re: Day 149, Morning
Stuff's mostly sorted, though, so - so, I'll be around more.
