You guys got wrecked by an angel while trying to get to Azzy's place--like SUPER wrecked, and had to abandon the other angel you were looking for, and Intensity had to throw down some blank check to get you back.
And you recently decided you were gonna keep looking for the angel anyway! Summoning someone, I believe? Sorry, I peeked at your plan.
[Please hold, though, while he digs into his super hero belt pouch for a sheaf of papers and hands them over to C.]
...here. I got the long version, if you want it. We were trying to break into P's place, not Azzy's. Were kinda hoping we'd find a clue on how to get to there.
Oh, yeeeeaah, that's right. He asked me not to tell you the name of the big demon city for now! I'm gonna acknowledge that promise because I really don't wanna see you running off alone. But I'm sure the gears are already turning in Intensity's head for round two.
While I'm not thrilled to know it was so bad you all had to go through Lilith to get back, all things considered you set off quite the chain reaction of events! At least SOMETHING interesting happened.
Torture and dying isn't really anything new here, and your angel buddy may be gone, but hardly forgotten. Plus, it was another angel that took you guys out, right? That means there's a high chance they're not planning on snuffing out your guy. So you'll get to see him again.
It's like an intermission! Neeheeehee, I wonder how big act two will be.
They could prod him for information or--well, to be honest I'm not exactly sure how you properly torture an angel since holy stuff seems to be demon proof. But that's how it goes. Ultimately, as long as he's not dead, we still have chance.
Knowing you I'm sure you feel super duper guilty, especially since you were so hype about the rescue plan. But personally, I don't think much has changed.
Yes, Hurricane, I kind of have a reminder about that around my neck every single day.
It's unfortunate, but not something we can't eventually work to resolve. Besides, with the way some games have been going, half of those people would end up like that anyway. [looking at u pp!!]
But it still doesn't negate the fact that we have a better grasp on what we're dealing with. And while it's a fucked up way to get there, maybe some people will start taking this seriously as well. Oooor they were gonna take Azzy's deal and become demons anyway so! No big loss.
Seems like a bad trade, is all. Everyone got hurt growing their new stuff in, and the only person who's wanted to help us at all is getting tortured right now. A whole bunch of people got killed, too.
It's - it's a lot, just to find out we hit a dead end.
I mean, what were we doing before you got back into heaven, and we all got dumped into double hell. What was the plan? Was there even one? Hell, for you guys, was there even hope?
You're avoiding the question, missing the point! But to answer yours. . .yes!
Before this, we were scraping by for information. We barely knew anything about angels, the other hells, azzy, the liars, none of it! We were basically pulling shit out our asses.
But now look! You were sooo close to your goal, and you through the entire hellscape for a loop! And because of that, it's inspired others to work harder. Even as we speak, we have some people planning to get closer to Azzy, and some are still putting together intel from neon hell. We know heaven is at least still functional now, and multiple angels are still alive, even if they're working as bouncers. We heard from Intensity that even though he fucked you up, he might be the reason you found the diary in the first place. So look at that, you still have connections in high places.
Look, I get it. You really cared for the guy. Is it your fault he was captured? Yep! Buuuuut Azzy and co were already looking for him anyway--even if you hadn't convinced him to crash land, what if Baritones was more than ready to give up information so he could be ambushed? In a waaaay, you might have saved him from a worse fate, y'know?
But more importantly, so many more doors and possibilities have opened up to us. For me personally, now I know that becoming a god is a real thing, since P's basically been trying it this whole time. Intensity may very well become king of hell! Hell, maybe after you rescue that wild card of an angel, you'll become an honorary angel yourself, who knows.
All this is possible because you went and made things interesting. Really now, give yourself a little bit of credit.
I mean, Furfur... he's been looking for a way out for who even knows how long. He said trying to make someplace new was just - dumb, and naive. That if there was some third way, he'd've done it already.

Intensity called me off.

Re: [probly 147 at some point]
Intensity managed to talk you out of it? Wow, you guys must have REALLY taken a beating. Like, harder than I imagined.
So what now?
Re: [probly 147 at some point]
He kinda wiped the floor with us.
But I dunno what's next. Sounds like he's got better people on the job for finding a way in. So.

So all that said, good job!
Re: [probly 147 at some point]
On what? I messed everyone up, got someone kidnapped and tortured, and got a whole bunch of people killed.

If you were, you'd practically be an angel yourself. Now that'd be fucked up.
Tell me this, what was our plan before all of this happened?

And that's coming from a defected angel. It's a bit of a limited perspective, y'know?
