Brainwashing people is one of his powers. I... I do not believe it is a risk unless I actually do something to cross him. He puts up with Double Moon's inane babbling and uselessness, so as long as he doesn't learn that I'm not truly on his side it should be safe.
There was a whole lot of stained glass. All along the hallway, and then in this other room, too. The walls had carvings about Jesus and stuff. Just - y'know, standard god type things.
It was set up for a bunch of people, but everything was empty.
There was this other room, too, that looked like a hot spring or something. Had a whole bunch of pools of water.
Everything. Gaining access to the personal notes of an enemy...
Do you know what could have been in there? Details on the war. On responsibilities that were given to them. Projects they were working on. Missions or other plans they argued for or against.
...Magic would be my best guess. An object that a divine being poured all of their thoughts into may have value as an ingredient for some ritual. Like the one that brought you into Heaven in the first place.
Or it may be as simple as Absinthe not understanding the importance of what he read in it. Azzy may have context we don't to understand the contents.
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
Or is this like a double agent thing.
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
It is obviously a double agent thing. Why else would I stop you from telling me too much about Heaven?
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
Just wondering if, like - I dunno, if he had ways of making you do whatever. Sounds like the kind of thing a dick like him'd be into.
[He is worried, okay, and bad at expressing it.]

But take care of you, okay? I don't want nothing happening to you.
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
Ah...yes. Of course.
...You be careful too. I know we disagree on the angels, but... Just, do not be so eager to believe in a rescue that you overlook anything.
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
[Offers his fist, for a fistbump.]
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
I am glad to hear it.

Absinthe and co.
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
Absinthe found a diary in the room, written by one of the angels.
And, uh. One of the angels showed up.
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
The angel took it back, though.
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
Did you get the angel's name? I can likely direct him to Absinthe if you'd prefer not to share it...
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
What do you think he wanted the diary for?
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning

It would be a blueprint to knowing your enemy.
Re: THE NEXT DAY - late morning
So how come he wanted to keep it, if he already knew what was in there?
